YEREVAN. – Armenia's new pension law will change the system so that the requirements of the Constitutional Court could be met, chairman of standing committee on social affairs said.

The final version of the law is not ready yet, Hakob Hakobyan told the Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent, adding  that it would definitely change the whole system so that the requirements of the Constitutional Court could be met.

“We still have not fulfilled the CC ruling as of April 2,” he added.

Hakobyan said he would like to involve the young people from “I am against” movement in drafting of new law.

The activists protesting against the mandatory cumulative pension system were offered cooperation on drafting a new pension law, but they refused, saying that the deputies and ministers should do the job.
