YEREVAN. – Agriculture Minister Sergo Karapetyan has left for Shirak region where a hail storm damaged 100 percent of crops on Monday.
The Minister started his working trip from a visit Hovtashen community, ministry’s press service reported. He said a regional commission had been set up to examine the extent of damage.
Minister Karapetyan visited seven villages of Artik and Akhuryan region.
As reported earlier, the villagers blocked the road in a sign of protest on Monday demanding that governor should immediately examine the extent of damage.
