YEREVAN. – The quality, not amount of arms decides the outcome of a battle, and, more importantly, moral and psychological spirit of the soldiers, Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan said.

Commenting on the permanent statements by Azerbaijani leader and threats “to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict by force”, the Minister stressed that mentally prepared soldier who is defending his homeland and is ready not only for self-sacrifice, but a long struggle, is more important than weapons and ammunition.

Seyran Ohanyan noted that the Azerbaijani side usually activates ceasefire violations in relation to the various visits, events and statements.

“The activeness of  the adversary is cooled after a response on our part,” Minister said, adding that the statements of international organizations and mediators should not contain unilateral approaches.

He noted that the enemy attacks and still have a positive result, this leads to improvement and further strengthening of the border. In this regard, Ohanyan said that Armenia is the guarantor of the security of Nagorno-Karabakh.

“The people of Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh will fight for every inch of land,” he emphasized.
