A group of businessmen in Turkey—and from the cities of Istanbul and Van—are establishing an airline company which initially will conduct flights between Van, Istanbul and Ankara, and, subsequently, to Iran, Georgia, and Armenia, as well.    

The newly created airline company is called Van Airlines, reported Habervan website of Turkey.

In 2013, an Armenia-based tour company, which organizes pilgrimages to Western Armenia (Eastern Turkey) and Cilicia, was preparing to conduct flights between Yerevan and Van. But the Turkish party suspended these flights without an explanation, and just days before the first flight.
