YEREVAN. – Armenia and Russia signed an agreement on the status of stay of Russian citizens in the territory of the Republic of Armenia and Armenian citizens in the Russian Federation.

The agreement was signed during PM Hovik Abrahamyan's visit to Sochi where he held talks with his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev.

The agreement exempts citizens from an obligation to register at the place of residence within 30 days. This will provide favorable conditions for the citizens of Armenia, including labor migrants.

Prime Minister Abrahamyan accompanied by Russian Transport Minister Maksim Sokolov visited the Sochi Olympic Park.
