YEREVAN. – Karabakh war veteran, commander of Arabo unit Manvel Yeghiazaryan is convinced that Azerbaijan is posing no danger for Armenia.

The Armenian army simply needs good organization skills, he said during a press conference on  Monday.

“We should strengthen our positions so that Azerbaijani saboteurs could not cross the border and kill an Armenian serviceman,” he said.

At the same time Yeghizaryan did not rule out that the war may break out, noting that it is not easy for Aliyev to start war.

“We know that Aliyev is not an elected president of Azerbaijan. He grabbed a lot of money by robbing his own people. He realizes that if he starts war and fails to win, he will lose his post and power,” he added.

Yeghiazaryan is confident that the possible war cannot last long, as it may create an explosive situation in the fragile Caucasus.

“Azerbaijan - an artificial spike in the Caucasus, it is necessary to remove it. We certainly do not want war, as it is defeat even for the winner. However, we must be ready for war every minute,” the Karabakh war veteran concluded.
