YEREVAN. – Prime Minister of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan condoled with the family and relatives of Sen Arevshatyan, on the death of the academician.  

“He has had a significant contribution to Armenology and the study of the ancient and medieval Armenian philosophical mind.

“Heading the [capital city Yerevan’s] Mesrop Mashtots Matenadaran [which is one of the world’s oldest repositories of ancient manuscripts] for a quarter of a century, he has greatly contributed to the development of this most important scientific and cultural institution,” the PM’s message of condolences specifically reads.
