The burial service for Khachatur Badasyan will take place on Monday, and he will be laid to rest in military fashion.

Vahram Sharoyan, the prefect of Haghtanak village—where Badasyan is originally from—of Armenia’s Tavush Region, told the aforementioned to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“We have a small cemetery in the village, where our [village’s fallen] fighters are buried. Khachatur’s [grave likewise] will be right there next to them,” Sharoyan added.

In his words, the bullet, which was shot by the Azerbaijanis, had fallen next to Badasyan, and he had died from the fragments of this bullet.

Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), or Artsakh, President Bako Sahakyan had signed a decree. Accordingly, NKR Defense Army Private Khachatur Badasyan, 19, was posthumously awarded with the “For Courage” Medal for his bravery shown during the protection of the NKR state borders.

Armenia Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan had stated that one military serviceman (Khachatur Badasyan) had died and two others were wounded while driving back the adversary’s sabotage-intelligence operations, in the early morning hours on July 26, at the northeastern borders of Armenia and on the Line of Contact of NKR, in several directions.
