Eurasian Economic Union formed by Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan, is open to other CIS states sharing the goals of Eurasian integration, Russian FM Sergey Lavrov said in Tajikistan.

“Armenia will become a full member of the Union in the near future, and talks with Kyrgyzstan are at an advanced stage, ” Lavrov said during a meeting with young diplomats in Dushanbe.

He noted that joining integration processes enables to strengthen competitive advantages of the parties, to give an impetus to economy development.

Deepening of close ties with all CIS partners is a key strategic direction of Russia's long-term foreigbn policy, Russian FM added.
