Famous Istanbul-Armenian journalist Hayko Baghdat responded to Turkish PM's insulting remark against Armenians.
Hayko Baghdat said it is absolutely unacceptable to use the word “ugly” while speaking about national minorities, Cumhuriyet reported.
“Whatever his goal was, Prime Minister should apologize to the Armenians, Alewis, Zazаs and Georgians. This would be a real peace, a real message of condolences,” Baghdat said.
As reported earlier, Turkish PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan made an insulting remark during a television interview.
“I am from Rise. They called me a Georgian. Pardon me for saying this, but they said even uglier things. They called me an Armenian,” Erdogan said.
