YEREVAN. – The Government of Armenia should help its prospective exporters to Russia.

Non-pro-government Prosperous Armenia Party MP Mikayel Melkumyan told the aforesaid to reporters on Wednesday.

“It is apparent that we [Armenia] can ensure a growth in agricultural products. For this, however, the processing, maintenance, and logistics infrastructures need to be developed. And the private [sector] can develop them solely in the case of affordable credit resources,” Melkumyan added.

According to him, the Armenian state needs to ensure these conditions for the exporters by taking targeted steps, but it should also check the quality of the products of the exporters.
