The very Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Armed Forces are the best peacekeepers for NKR.

(NKR) Defense Minister and Defense Army Commander Movses Hakobyan stated the aforementioned at a press conference, and in response to a query on his view with respect to the idea of deploying foreign peacekeepers in the Karabakh conflict zone.

“There is no better peacekeeper than us in this region,” the minister added.

Commenting on Russia’s selling of weapons to Azerbaijan, Hakobyan said: “The fact that Azerbaijan buys weapons is very bad, but it does not scare us.”

According to him, during Azerbaijan’s most recent acts of sabotage, it left as a “gift” for the Armenian side several types of weapons which the NKR army did not possess.

“Good armament is important, but it’s not decisive. Art of efficiency exists in the army; it’s important to be able to skillfully use the weapon you have,” Movses Hakobyan said.
