The Line of Contact between the Karabakh-Azerbaijani armed forces is quiet in the direction of Martuni Region of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR).

A group of journalists went to the Armenian frontlines, to get acquainted with the situation on location, and after Azerbaijan’s several sabotage attempts (PHOTOS).

A number of dogs are walking along the entire length of the said Armenian military position.

“Their task is to warn about a sabotage attempt, and they are doing that marvelously,” an officer noted.

Regardless of weather conditions, the Armenian soldiers on the frontlines know that they must carefully monitor this sector of the Line of Contact that is entrusted to them.

“We carry out our [military] service confidently and alertly. This is the first, the most accountable line, and each soldier climbing to the [military] position is aware of the responsibility entrusted in him,” soldier Mikhail Amirkhanyan said.

In his words, even though this part of the boundary is not small, he and his friends monitor it with confidence.

En route to NKR capital city Stepanakert, we also passed by Aghdam city.
