CSTO chief Nikolay Boryuzha said military bloc's peacekeepers are ready for any operations, including those outside the member states, including Ukraine.

However, only the Collective Security Council is authorized to make decisions on using peacekeepers, Bordyuzha told RIA Novosti.

“The possibility of using CSTO peacekeeping forces is the prerogative of the Collective Security Council, the supreme body of the CSTO, which consists of the heads of member states. Under their joint decision and in accordance with the existing agreements, peacekeeping forces can be deployed on the territory of the member states and beyond,” he added.
