Azerbaijani authorities continued their crackdown on civil society representatives by detaining another opposition journalist Seymur Hazy.
Hazy has been detained as a suspect under Article 221.3 (hooliganism committed with a weapon or object used as a weapon), Azerbaijani media reported.
Seymur Hazy, one of the leading columnists of the newspaper Azadlig, is one of the outspoken critics of the incumbent authorities.
