YEREVAN. – The unidentified driver of a Mercedes hit another Mercedes, with Yeprem M., 35, behind the steering wheel, in Armenia’s capital city Yerevan, on Friday at 1:45pm.

In turn, the second Mercedes crashed into a parked Mercedes, belonging to Armen A., 45, and this parked vehicle moved forward and hit a parked Opel belonging to Artur M., 31.

As a result of this multi-vehicle collision, Yeprem M. and the passenger of the first Mercedes, Edison Gevorgyan, 71, were taken to hospital, where Gevorgyan died, the Police press service informed.

It was found out on the same day that the driver of the first Mercedes was Ashot Gh., 21, who, thanks to the explanatory work by the police, came down to a police station at 10pm.

An investigation is underway into the incident.
