YEREVAN. – Prime Minister of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan on Tuesday congratulated Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), or Artsakh, PM Ara Harutyunyan on the NKR Independence Day anniversary. 

“The achievement of Artsakh’s independence during its struggle for freedom is one of the Armenian history’s greatest accomplishments, which became possible owing to the consolidation of all segments of Armenians. 

“I am confident that the determination of the people of Artsakh and the consistent steps by its authorities will result in the international recognition of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic in a foreseeable future, especially since it has achieved a long time ago the right to become a member in the large global family by establishing a democratic system and respecting international law,” the Armenia PM’s message reads, in particular, informed the Press Office of the Government of Armenia.
