YEREVAN. – Georgia has displayed healthy pragmatism toward Armenia's Eurasian integration, MP Gagik Minasyan said.
Asked to comment on former president's remark that Eurasian Union accession can complicate trade with Iran and Georgia, Minasyan noted that Georgia is ready to compromise when it comes to trade turnover.
“This is healthy pragmatism that is in the interests of Georgia. I am confident that the latest processes 'at the line of contact' of European and Eurasian unions may bring certain problems, but pragmatism was the winner,” Minasyan told reporters.
In his recent interview, ex-president Robert Kocharyan warned abort obstacles to Armenia's trade turnover with Iran and Georgia amid country's upcoming accession to the Eurasian Union.
