Armenian researcher Hayrazat Ghazaryan was awarded, on Tuesday in Oslo, the Gold Medal of King Harald V of Norway.

This prestigious award, which is presented to outstanding young researchers who greatly contribute to scientific research, was handed to Ghazaryan at the University of Oslo, and during the annual awards ceremony.

Hayrazat Ghazaryan was born in Armenia’s capital city Yerevan in 1977. Ever since 2014, Dr. Ghazaryan works at the Surgery Department of the Kirkenes Hospital in Norway.

Hayrazat Ghazaryan will visit Armenia in late September, and he will deliver a lecture at the Yerevan State Medical University.
