YEREVAN. – The different integration directions of Armenia and Georgia will not have an impact on their bilateral relations.

Analyst Haykazun Alvrtsyan noted the above-said at a press conference on Friday, as he reflected on Armenia’s Eurasian Economic Union integration process.

In his words, understanding the delicacy of the situation very well, Georgia’s western backer US and Armenia’s “regent” Russia will avoid any attempts to upset the balance in the region.

“At the moment, this is convenient neither for the White House nor the Kremlin. The creation of an ‘Islamic Caliphate’ in Iraq and the growing crisis in Ukraine are the ‘headaches’ for the two powers,” the analyst stressed.
