YEREVAN. – The only purpose of conducting Constitutional reforms in Armenia is to give the current regime a chance to reproduce its power; but this plan by President Serzh Sargsyan will fail.
Opposition Armenian National Congress party Spokesperson Arman Musinyan noted the abovementioned at a press conference on Tuesday.
“The main objective of this plan is to solve the problem of Serzh Sargsyan’s reproduction [of power], since the Constitution [of Armenia] forbids a third term of presidency.
“Second, Sargsyan says he is against the [Constitutional] reforms, whereas his team members claim to the contrary.
“I am convinced that Serzh Sargsyan will fail in these reforms; he will not reproduce his power,” he said.
In Musinyan’s words, if these reforms are carried out, it will be the end of Armenia.
