YEREVAN. – The opposition ARF Dashnaktsutyun Party National Assembly (NA) Faction will continue cooperation with the three non-government NA factions (Armenian National Congress, Prosperous Armenia, and Heritage). There will be issues around which the four forces will express a single position and fight together.

ARF NA Faction Head Armen Rustamyan told the aforesaid to reporters, after the four factions’ meeting on Wednesday, and in response to a query on whether the party will leave the “parliamentary four” and form a coalition with the ruling Republican Party.

“We will not enter a coalition. As for the [parliamentary] four, they have the right to preach their views, and we [have the right to preach], ours. Let it be decided at the rally as to whose view will prevail.

“[Even] if it turns out that our relations around the Constitutional reforms meet an impasse, this will not obstruct us from continuing our cooperation around the other key issues,” Rustamyan noted.

The aforementioned three non-government parliamentary forces will hold a joint rally on October 10. But due to disagreements over the Constitutional reforms, ARF Dashnaktsutyun on Wednesday decided not to participate in this public assembly.
