YEREVAN. – The ruling Republican Party of Armenia National Assembly (RPA NA) Faction has actively participated in all the voting at the first NA four-day session, but being present at the NA Sessions’ Hall during deliberations is not only non-mandatory, but even wrong.   

RPA NA Faction member Sukias Avetisyan told the aforesaid to Armenian News-NEWS.am, commenting on whether to carry out President and RPA Chairman Serzh Sargsyan’s respective instruction.  

“We carried out Serzh Sargsyan’s instruction because all the Faction members were present at the voting. 

“It’s just that it seems to everyone that all MPs must be present at the deliberations on all matters. [But] I’m against this kind of thing because, during these discussions, these MPs have a problem even around this matter, [and with respect to] going out and ascertaining the [respective] positions of other organizations,” Avetisyan said.
