YEREVAN. – A joint rally staged by three parliamentary parties will not play any role on Armenia's accession to Eurasian Union, since “two and a half” parties out of three support joining the Union, political analyst said.

“Who is against joining the Union? Prosperous Armenia and ANC are definitely for, and the reason for conflict within Heritage party is different approach on the issue. Some members of Heritage believe it is right to join, some say it is wrong. So, 2.5 out of three parties support the idea,” Karen Kocharyan said during a news conference on Friday.

Three parliamentary parties – Prosperous Armenia, ANC and Heritage – have agreed on holding a nation-wide rally in Liberty Square on October 10. Meanwhile, Russian official said Armenia is going to join the Eurasian Union on October 9.
