YEREVAN. – On August 21, American-Armenian businessman Serop Der-Boghossian, who was convicted in Armenia for pedophilia, was transferred to hospital to undergo a regular chemotherapy session.   

The Armenia Ministry of Justice Correctional Facilities Department Public Relations Department informed the aforesaid to Armenian News-NEWS.am.  

The source also informed that Der-Boghossian, who was an inmate in the Hrazdan prison, died in hospital on Sunday at 9:05am.

A forensic examination is commissioned.

In 2012, Serop Der-Boghossian, who was the proprietor of the Akhtala mining plant and the Metal Prince Corporation, was sentenced to fifteen years in prison in Armenia for child molestation.
