YEREVAN. – Market traders protesting against amendments to the law on tax turnover blocked the traffic near the building of Armenian government.

Demonstrators said they are not satisfied with the meeting with PM Hovik Abrahamyan, although the latter agreed to receive a group of protesters, he said the law will not be annulled.

Protesters are threatening to block the traffic until their problem is solved. They also demand support from the opposition political parties.

Police officers are trying to push them out of the roadway, the Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent reports. .

Earlier demonstrators marched to the government building in a protest against amendments to the law on tax turnover.
