Russian military personnel of the Southern Military District started a large-scale military exercise in Armenia to be held from October 13 to 19 .
About 3,000 military personnel and over 500 units as well as MiG-29 fighters will participate in the military drills at the Alagyaz and Kamkhud polygon.
The drills are led by General Lieutenant Alexander Romanchuk.
