YEREVAN. - The American national currency’s (USD) exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 409.49/$1 in Armenia on Thursday, and this makes for an AMD 1.27 drop from the previous day.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 521.44 (up by AMD 2.08), that of one British pound was AMD 653.22 (down by AMD 0.96), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 10.01 (down by AMD 0.01), informed the Central Bank of Armenia press service.

One gram of silver, gold, and platinum amounted to AMD 223.94, AMD 16,292.19, and AMD 16,548.92, respectively.

Thursday’s trading totaled USD 4,200,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 408.81/$1, and the trading session closed at AMD 408.74/$1.
