YEREVAN. –  Yazidis, one of the oldest nations in the Middle East, are under threat of extermination in their native land, Yazidi community of Armenia and “No to Genocides” initiative said in a statement.

Yazidi community condemns global media for presenting them as “Kurds” or “Yazidi Kurds”.

“The matter is that many global media outlets, electronic and print media, intentionally or wrongly, present Yazidis as Kurds or as “Yazidi Kurds” that is blatant injustice,” the statement reads.
