YEREVAN. – Armenian government will not disregard problems of farmers, PM Hovik Abrahamyan said during ArmAgroForum conference in Yerevan.

The agriculture sector is in need of constant support in any country, and Armenia is not an exception, he added.

“Armenian farmers need special support, since successful agricultural sector provides jobs, and this will be a solution to emigration problem – a key challenge the Armenian villages are faced with,” PM said.

He congratulated everyone of the Day of agricultural worker that has been marked since 2011.

“We share your difficulties and will do everything to help you,” he told farmers.
