YEREVAN. – Foreign Affairs Minister Edward Nalbandian on Wednesday had a farewell meeting with French Ambassador Henri Reynaud, who is ending his diplomatic mission in Armenia.

Minister Nalbandian thanked Ambassador Reynaud for his intensive and active work, and noted that, during his posting, the Armenian-French relations have deepened further and cooperation in all domains has been enhanced, the MFA press service informed.

Expressing gratitude for the high assessment of his work, Ambassador Reynaud, for his part, noted that he is proud to bring his contribution to the development of Armenian-French friendly relations. He also thanked for the support he received from the Foreign Ministry during his term in office.

Subsequently, the interlocutors exchanged views on the joint steps towards further development of Armenian-French ties.

In addition, Minister Nalbandian awarded Ambassador Reynaud with the Medal of the Foreign Ministry of Armenia, and in recognition of the diplomat’s contribution in the enhancement of Armenian-French relations.
