YEREVAN. – National Central Bureau (NCB) of Interpol in Armenia is actively working with their counterparts from Turkey, director of Armenian office Ara Fidanyan said.

The Armenian representation of Interpol is working with almost all 190 members of the organization.

“We have more active cooperation with 89 countries, in particular with Russia, France, Germany, U.S., Sweden , Georgia, Poland, Belgium and Iran,” Fidanyan said.

In addition, during nine months the turnover of documents between NCB Interpol Armenia and their counterparts in Turkey exceeded 190 units of information.

Thnks to the efforts of NCB in two countries, the law enforcement bodies of Armenia and Turkey managed to carry out the extradition of a number of individuals on the international wanted list.
