YEREVAN. – The “Hayastan” All-Armenian Fund Toronto Chapter’s annual gala dinner was held on October 26.

Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), or Artsakh, Minister of Foreign Affairs Karen Mirzoyan was the keynote speaker of the evening.

In addition, Armenia’s Ambassador to Canada, Armen Yeganian, delivered remarks, the Armenia MFA press service informed.

First, he congratulated on the 22nd anniversary of the “Hayastan” All-Armenian Fund Toronto Chapter. Subsequently, the ambassador stressed the Armenian nation’s engagement in the socioeconomic development of Artsakh, and also spoke about the steps being taken to develop Armenian-Canadian relations.

The more than half a million dollars in donations, which were collected during the event, will be used for the implementation of several important projects aimed at the NKR’s development.
