YEREVAN. – Kurdish public figures visited Yerevan State University on Wednesday for a meeting with students.

Rector of the university Aram Simonyan handed over gold medals to the famous writer and public figure Ismail Besikci and Kurdish lawyer Osman Baydemir.

Osman Baydemir, for his part, handed over souvenir from Diyarbakir and lawyer Rusan Arslan, who is a chairman of Ismail Besikci foundation, presented several books to the university library. He said the books written by Besikci will be soon available to students of the Armenian university.
