YEREVAN. – The Russian parliament has not adopted legal acts on selling weapons to Azerbaijan.

Co-Chairman of the Russian–Armenian Commission on Interparliamentary Cooperation, Nikolai Ryzhkov, on Thursday told the abovementioned to reporters in Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan.

“I was asked this question previously, too; I can say the same: it’s not clear for me.

“As a member of the [Russian] parliament, I’m not aware of such information. Our parliament has never adopted any decision on the supply of military equipment,” Ryzhkov stressed.

In mid-2013, there were media reports about another major deal on the supplying of Russian military equipment to Azerbaijan.
