YEREVAN. – Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan received the newly appointed Chinese Ambassador to Armenia, Tien Erlong.

The Premier congratulated the ambassador for commencing his diplomatic mission in Armenia, and expressed the hope that the new ambassador will contribute to the further expansion of Armenian-Chinese relations.

The Chinese diplomat, for his part, assured that he will make maximum efforts during his tenure to give new impetus to ties between the two friendship countries.

Subsequently, the interlocutors conferred on the avenues for developing Armenian-Chinese cooperation and implementing new programs.
