YEREVAN. – The Minister of Economy, Karen Chshmarityan, on Tuesday received Canadian Ambassador to Armenia John Ronald Kur, whose diplomatic residence is in Moscow.

Underscoring the development of Armenian-Canadian trade and economic relations, the minister expressed confidence that it will be possible to contribute to the expansion of these relations. Also, Chshmarityan especially highlighted the introduction of an innovation system in Armenia, and with the Canadian track-record.       

Ambassador Kur, for his part, noted that high-level delegations are expected to pay mutual visits next year, and to further strengthen the Armenian-Canadian trade and economic relations.    

At the end of the talk, the two parties expressed willingness to discuss and give formal approvals to bilateral arrangements.
