STEPANAKERT. – Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR; Artsakh) President Bako Sahakyan on Tuesday visited in Los Angeles, California, the Armenian Relief Society (ARS) Regional Executive Board of the Western USA and met with representatives of the organization, led by chairwoman Vicky Marashlian.

The President considered the ARS to be one of the most established organizations of the Armenian diaspora, and he stressed its activities in the Motherland and beyond its borders, informed the Central Information Department of the Office of the NKR President.

Sahakyan pointed out that the ARS activities in Artsakh are among the best manifestations of patriotism and that they are visible in the republic.

President Sahakyan also responded to numerous questions posed by those in attendance.

Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, who is Primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Deputy Prime Minister Arthur Aghabekyan, Ambassador of Armenia to the US Tigran Sargsyan, and several other officials accompanied the President.
