As a rule, the talks between the presidents of Russia and Ukraine proceed in a practical course, Russian presidential aide Yury Ushakov stated, TASS news agency of Russia reported.

“No one has ever hurled threats during those numerous [telephonic] conversations. We [, the Kremlin,] have absolute proof [of this] because all conversations are recorded,” Ushakov stressed commenting on the news about threats being made against the Ukrainian leader.

The press had earlier written that the Russian and the Ukrainian presidents, Vladimir Putin and Petro Poroshenko, had reflected on Ukraine-NATO relations, and some media even claimed that the Russian President had threatened his Ukrainian counterpart. Subsequently, however, Ukraine had dismissed these rumors.
