A delegation, led by Catholicos Aram I of the Great House of Cilicia and who is on a patriarchal trip to the United Arab Emirates, paid a visit to the Embassy of Armenia in Abu Dhabi.
A tree-planting ceremony was held at the embassy garden, the Armenia MFA press service informed. In his remarks, Ambassador of Armenia to the UAE Gegham Gharibjanian spoke about the patriotic activities of Aram I.
The Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia, for his part, noted that Armenia is the homeland and sacred place of each and every Armenian. He also blessed the embassy.
In addition, Aram I consecrated the Holy Martyrs Armenian Church of Abu Dhabi. Later that evening, a reception was held on the occasion of the consecration of the aforesaid place of worship.
