Kazakhstan celebrates its Independence Day anniversary on Tuesday, December 16.

On this day in 1991, country’s President Nursultan Nazarbayev signed the Constitutional Law on State Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, reported RIA Novosti news agency of Russia.

The Kazakhstan Independence Day anniversary is celebrated with concerts, massive outings, and fireworks. 

A day before the anniversary, the president of Kazakhstan bestowed awards upon prominent personalities of the country.
