YEREVAN. – The number of cattle and livestock in Armenia has increased by 2 to 5 percent this year.
The First Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Grisha Baghiyan, stated the aforementioned at a press conference on Friday.
In addition, this year’s meat production was 11 percent more, milk production was 8.5 percent more, and egg production was 4.5 percent more than the year past.
As per Baghiyan, these indicators were achieved owing to a variety of projects, including the development of pedigree breeding.
