YEREVAN. – The U.S. is an important partner for Armenia, Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan said during the meeting with outgoing U.S. Ambassador to Armenia John Heffern.
Prime Minister highly valued the personal contribution of the Ambassador to strengthening of Armenian-American relations and implementation of joint programs, resulting in substantial progress in bilateral relations. PM noted that Armenia highly appreciates the financial and technical assistance provided by the U.S. Government.
Ambassador Heffern, in turn, expressed confidence that the Armenian-American relations will also continue to develop dynamically, stressing that the United States attaches importance to the deepening of relations with Armenia.
