STEPANAKERT. – Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR; Artsakh) President Bako Sahakyan on Friday visited the Martakert Region and attended the official ceremony for handing the keys of a new residential building in Vardadzor village.

The President also visited the Base Metals CJSC’s Kashen mining complex in the region and got familiarized with the work implemented there, informed the Central Information Department of the Office of the NKR President.

Sahakyan stressed the importance of the Kashen mining complex deposit in the development of Artsakh’s economy, and, in parallel with the expansion of production capacity, he also highlighted the need to improve the social and living conditions of the employees of this mining complex.
