The American Chamber of Commerce in Armenia (AmCham) marked its 10th anniversary on July 9.

In her congratulatory speech, RA Ambassador to Armenia Marie Yovanovitch pointed out the AmCham’s importance for exchanging the best business experience with Armenian companies. The Ambassador is happy over the U.S. Embassy’s cooperation with AmCham and implementation of a number of joint programs.

The U.S. Embassy welcomes AmCham’s activities, as they contribute to democracy and economic progress in Armenia, which will promote foreign investments in Armenia, Yovanovitch said.

AmCham member-organizations raise problems they face in their everyday business activities, AmCham Executive Director Diana Gaziyan told NEWS.am. She pointed out that the organizations succeed in many more things when they combine their efforts than when they act by themselves.

At the end of the ceremony fifteen AmCham members received awards. The Bambir rock group performed songs at the ceremony.

AmCham was founded in 2000. It unites eighty-five organizations shared in by foreign capital, such as Armenia Marriott, Ameria Group, Arsoil, Austrian Airlines, HSBC Bank Armenia, Ingo Armenia, etc...
