Two French couple, who had named their newborn girls Nutella and Fraise (strawberry), was forced by court order to change the names of these infants.

The judicial bodies of the Valenciennes commune believe that these names are unpleasant for the children, La voix du Nord reported.

Respective lawsuits were filed after the Valenciennes Department of Registration employees had filed a formal complaint, Lenta reported.

After the court verdict, the parents of Fraise suggested renaming their daughter Fraisine, which was popular in the 19th century, and the court approved this decision.

The parents of the other child, on the other hand, had disregarded the court notice for a long time, since the ruling was reached by default. Accordingly, the little Nutella was renamed Ella.
