YEREVAN. – Mutually beneficial relations between Armenia and Iran were developing normally, says the annual report issued by Armenian Foreign Ministry.

Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan paid an official visit to Iran in October and met with the President of Iran, Vice President and Foreign Minister.

In May Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian left on a visit to Tehran at the invitation of his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif. During the visit Edward Nalbandian met with Iranian leader Hassan Rouhani, the Speaker of Parliament Ali Larijani and Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif.

The 12th session of the Armenian-Iranian intergovernmental commission was held in Tehran in December. In addition, mutual visits and meetings at the level of ministries were held to discuss cooperation in the political, legal, cultural and other fields.
