STEPANAKERT. – It was impossible to make any real progress in the negotiations for a peaceful settlement of Karabakh conflict last year because of the destructive policy of Azerbaijan, Foreign Minister of Nagorno-Karabakh Karen Mirzoyan said during a press conference on Monday.

Azerbaijani side has chosen unprecedented aggravation, Mirzoyan said and emphasized that similar moves reveal Azerbaijan's open disrespect for the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairing states and the international community as a whole.

Immediate development and implementation of mechanisms to investigate incidents on the contact line will reveal the real offender, in the face of Azerbaijan. This will help avoide unaddressed statements to the parties which creates a false sense of permissiveness and impunity in Baku, Karabakh Foreign Ministry's press service reported.

The priorities of the NKR authorities for 2015 are peaceful settlement of Karabakh conflict and the international recognition of NKR.
