YEREVAN. – All of Armenia’s roads are primarily drivable as of Monday at 8am, reported the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations.

But the Vardenyats (Selim) Mountain Pass and the Charchakis-Mijnatun inter-village road, in the Aragatsotn Province, is closed. 

Several other motorways are difficult to pass, and there is fog in Aparan and Talin towns, and on the Goris-Kapan Highway.

In addition, there is snowfall at Vardenyats (Selim) Mountain Pass, Gegharkunik and Vayots Dzor Provinces, and in Dilijan and Aparan towns.   

The drivers are advised to use winter tires on their vehicles.

And according to the information received from the Emergency Situations Department of Georgia, the country’s Stepantsminda-Larsi Highway, which leads to the Armenian border, is open for all vehicles with chained wheels.
