YEREVAN. – Switzerland is ready to continue supporting Armenia-Turkey normalization, Swiss Ambassador to Armenia Lukas Gasser told reporters on Monday.
Asked about the protocols that were signed in 2009 in Zurich, Ambassador said Switzerland is aware of the withdrawal of the documents.
The diplomat said Switzerland is ready to continue mediation efforts if the parties express willingness. In this context he recalled that Switzerland has close ties with the authorities of both Armenia and Turkey.
As to who will represent Switzerland at the April 24 commemoration events in Yerevan, the Ambassador said the decision would be made in the near future.
